It’s Motor Trend’s Best Driver’s Automobile competition season, and this calendar year, the most powerful Corvette to previously leave the factory was initially invited. The 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 seemed to be on hand at Laguna Seca raceway for screening, but so were two other special guests.
Two Corvette Forum members, “skank” and “Corvette_Nut,” got a sneak peek with testing on the track. But, both were told to keep quiet about results until the magazine is ready to share their?results. We did learn MT has a couple Corvette ZR1s present: a low-wing and also high-wing model with the ZTK performance package deal.
Chevrolet also sent a Corvettes engineering, a mechanic and a internet marketing rep to support the world-beating Corvettes in its BDC outing. The high-wing vehicle was used for hot laps about Laguna Seca as well.
We’ll have to stay tuned for more to see how the Corvette ZR1 manages in the competition, but it’ersus facing some serious levels of competition. The Porsche 911 GT2 Urs, McLaren 720S and others are also vying for any crown.
